I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Denver. My research focuses on political economy, democratization, and international migration. I am particularly interested in the political economy of emigration and remittances in developing countries. I teach courses on data analysis, research methods, comparative politics, Latin American politics, and political economy. I am also a recipient of the Adaljiza Sosa-Riddell Mentor Award for Mentoring of Undergraduates. My current research examines the political consequences of emigration and remittances on political attitudes and behaviors in Central America. Additionally, I work on projects related to Latin American diasporas and how they view their countries of origin. Email: [email protected] Department of Political Science Sturm Hall, Room 466 2000 E.
